46000 46mm

46000 Series Haydon Rotary Can Stack Stepper Motor
Haydon's can stack rotary stepper motors are built to provide exceptionally high torque to size ratios.  The Haydon 46000 can stack rotary stepper motor is 46mm rotary stepper motor with a holding torque of up to 1.0oz-in (.71Ncm).  Typical applications include medical equipment, bar code scanning devices, printing equipment, laboratory instrumentation and other high torque, small space mechanisms.

NOTE:  All chopper drive curves were created with a 5 volt motor and a 40 volt power supply.

Ramping can increase the performance of a motor either by increasing the top speed or getting a heavier load accelerated up to speed faster.  Also, deceleration can be used to stop the motor without overshoot.

With L/R drives peak force and speeds are reduced, using a unipolar drive will yield a further 30% force reduction.

25% Duty Cycle is obtained by a special winding or by running a standard motor at double the rated current.
